Bubbly Thoughts (NO)

What if the voice in your head belonged to a room full of strangers? That’s the question Bubbly Thoughts explores through fast-paced, narrative long-form improv. Grounded scenes and real characters spiral into delightful chaos as audience-provided “bubbly thoughts”—emotions, secrets, and random phrases—suddenly pop into characters’ minds mid-scene. And they have to act on them. No matter how weird. No matter how true. The result? Twisted tales full of comedy, conflict, and curveballs.

Petunias (NO)

Petunias were originally seeded behind the iron curtain, each in their own country, that is to say in Poland and Hungary. After the curtain dropped and their pots were getting too tight they got exported to Oslo, Norway in different curious ways. The show starts with a monologue based on the audience`s associations to Eastern (or Central) Europe and who knows what happens next?????

Frie Tøyler is back – sharper, freer, and more unbridled than ever!

Eight of Norway’s boldest improvisers – a delightful mix of creative wild horses, actors on their way to stardom, and one adventurous engineer – transform chaos and creative madness into magic on stage.

Since 2017, the group has improvised and toured across the country, and after a tiiiny break, they’re finally back. With gold in the Norwegian Theatresports Championship 2025, they deliver stories full of surprises, laughter, and boundless joy of play.
